How it works

The shape of the product on one page: review sources in, one feed out, rules and AI agents on top, and what is free and what costs credits.

Last updated October 14, 2026

ReviewComet collects the reviews customers leave about your business, puts them in one feed, and helps you answer every one of them: by hand, with a rule, or with an AI agent that writes in your words.

Sources in

A source is one place reviews come from. Facebook connects today, through a Facebook Page. Google, Trustpilot, the App Store, Google Play and custom sources are coming. You connect a source once and its new reviews arrive from that moment on. See Connect a source.

Every source belongs to a location, so a business with 3 branches can keep each branch's reviews and team apart. Most accounts have 1. See Locations.

One feed out

Reviews is the feed: every review from every source, newest first, with its stars, the site, the location and whether it still needs a reply. You answer from the card. On a site that takes replies through its API, your reply is posted. On a site that does not, it is copied for you to paste there, and the review is marked as replied. See Working the reviews feed.

Automation on top

2 tools act on reviews as they arrive. Both are on the Automation screen.

  • Rules always do the same thing to the same review: thank every 5-star review, flag every 1-star review, assign low ratings to a manager, send every review to your CRM.
  • AI agents read the review and write an answer from your instructions and knowledge. The star rating decides what happens to it: posted on its own, held for approval, or left as a draft for a person.

Approvals

A reply an agent holds for approval waits on the Approvals screen until somebody approves or discards it. Nothing in that queue reaches a customer without a person. See Approve or discard a drafted reply.

Private feedback

Some customers tell you privately instead of posting. That feedback lands in the same feed with a Private feedback tag, and it is never posted anywhere. You answer it by email.

Free and metered

Collecting reviews, reading them and everything a person does by hand are free and unlimited. Automated work spends credits from your credit pool: each rule action is 1 credit, and an AI reply costs more because the AI writes it. See What is free and what is metered.

What we never do

  • Post a reply nobody wrote, approved or allowed a rule or an agent to send.
  • Change or remove a customer's review.
  • Answer private feedback in public.

Where to go next

The fastest way in is Your first 15 minutes: connect a source, answer your first reviews, and switch on one rule.
